Ganaton Tablet is  Tablet manufactured by ABBOTT HEALTH. It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of eating disorder, heartburn , epigastric pain. It has some side effects such as Abdominal pain,Diarrhea,Constipation,Decreased blood cell or platelet count. The salts Itopride are involved in the preparation of Ganaton Tablet.

Ganaton Tablet Description:

Ganaton 50 tablet is used to treat various conditions such as indigestion, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite and other symptoms associated with decreased motility of the stomach and intestine. Ganaton tablet contains itopride as its active ingredient.

This medicine acts by increasing the motility of the gut, thus helping reduce these symptoms. Ganaton 50 tablet should not be used by children below 16 years of age and to be used cautiously by elderly patients. Take this medicine as advised by your treating doctor for the suggested duration. It would be better if you take this medicine at a fixed time daily for optimum benefits.

This medicine can sometimes cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea and headache. However, most of the side effects get resolved on their own over a short duration of time. Dosage Of Ganaton Tablet

Adult: Recommended Dose: 1 tablet (50 mg) taken orally 3 times daily before meals. The dose may be reduced according to the patient’s age and symptoms. In the clinical studies, Ganaton has been administered up to 8 weeks.
