Clobevate Ointment is used to treat several skin conditions such as; Rash, eczema, allergy, lichen planus, recalcitrant dermatosis, discoid lupus erythematosus, dermatitis and psoriasis.

This medicine is used to treat various skin conditions (such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, allergies, rashes). Clobetasol reduces the swelling, itching and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. This medicine is a very strong (super high potency) corticosteroid.

How Effective is Clobevate?

Clobevate 20g Ointment contains Clobetasol which belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Clobevate 20g works by activating certain natural substances in the skin to reduce symptoms of itching, redness and swelling.

How to Use Clobevate?

Use this medicine only on the skin. Do not use on face, groin or underarms unless directed to do so by your doctor.

Wash and dry your hands before use. Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin film of the medicine to the affected area and rub in gently as directed by your doctor, usually 2 times a day. Do not bandage, cover, or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.

After applying the medicine, wash your hands unless you are using the medicine to treat the hands. When applying this medication near the eyes, avoid getting it in the eyes because it may worsen or cause glaucoma. Also, avoid taking this medicine in the nose or mouth. If you get the medicine on these areas, rinse with plenty of water.
