Betnovate N Cream is a strong, fast-effective treatment for inflamed skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis where infection can be a problem. Betnovate-N Cream belongs to a group of medications called topical steroids. “Topical” means applied to the skin.

Topical steroids reduce the redness and itching of certain skin problems. (Not to be confused with “anabolic” steroids misused by some bodybuilders and taken in tablet or injection form.) Betnovate-N Cream also contains neomycin, which may help prevent or cure some bacterial skin infections.

The main ingredient active – betamethasone (as valerate) 0.1%an antibacterial agent: neomycin sulfate 3%a preservative – chlorocresol in a base containing cetomacrogol 1000 , white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin.The cream does not contain lanolin, parabens or dyes.

Before Using Betnovate-N Cream

This cream has been prescribed for treat the skin problem you showed to your doctor. DO NOT apply it to any other skin problem as it could make it worse.especially: acne some skin infections such as cold sores, herpes, impetigo, athlete’s foot, chickenpox, ringworm thrush conditions called rosacea and perioral dermatitis.

Do not use around the anus (back passage) or genitals (private parts) unless directed to do so by your doctor. if you have had an allergy to any creams or ointments in the past. if you think you may be pregnant did you tell your doctor at the last visit or a previous visit?if you did not tell your doctor you should do so before starting treatment still, your doctor may want you to use the cream.

Betnovate N Cream Side Effects
