Admore Drops are responsible for increasing the intestinal absorption of calcium, magnesium and phosphate and a number of other biological effects. Used for low levels or deficiency of vitamin D.

It can be used in kidney disease to maintain normal calcium levels and normal bone growth. Vitamin D drops (or other supplements) are given to breastfed babies because breast milk usually has low levels of vitamin D.

How Admore Vitamin D3 Drop Works?

Cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) is formed in the skin under the influence of UV radiation and is metabolized in two hydroxylation steps, first in the liver and then in kidney tissue to the biologically active metabolite 1,25-dihydroxy-cholecalciferol. 1,25-dihydroxy-cholecalciferol is primarily involved with parathyroid hormone and calcitonin in regulating calcium and phosphate homeostasis.

Vitamin D (ergocalciferol-D2, cholecalciferol-D3, alfacalcidol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin D is used to treat and prevent bone diseases (such as rickets, osteomalacia). Vitamin D is made by the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight. It should not be used in the following conditions: Hypersensitivity to Cholecalciferol or any component of the drug. Hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria. It should not be given to patients: with a tendency towards calcium-containing kidney stones; with pseudohypoparathyroidism.
